Modernization of production of UAB Polibarr and implementation of innovative products
UAB Polibarr is implementing the project “Modernisation of production of UAB Polibarr and implementation of innovative products” (Nr. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-803-020029), WHICH IS partly financed by THE European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of the project is to encourage investment of small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) in the start-up and development of innovative manufacturing business, creating conditions for increasing labour productivity, creating new jobs and creating conditions for faster development of Lithuanian regions.
Project activities: construction of productive buildings and acquisition of new innovative equipment.
UAB Polibarr is a rapidly growing innovative manufacturing company. Its main activity is the coating of paper with polyethylene, providing barrier properties. It is currently the only undertaking active in the Baltic States. The company exports part of its production. It is only possible to maintain in a competitive environment and expand activities in Lithuanian and export markets by expanding production and developing new products. The company intends to acquire new modern technological equipment and expand the range of products.
New innovative products will use the R & D performance of the company and partners.
Upon completion of the project, the enterprise plans to create new qualified jobs.
This project is implemented under Objective 3 “Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” of the Investment Action Programme under the 2014-2020 European Union Fund No. 03.3.1-LVPA-K-803 “Regio Invest LT +”. The project received funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

UAB “Polibarr” implements project “Implementation of the e-shop model of UAB “Polibarr””
UAB “Polibarr” is implementing the project “Implementing the e-kom model of UAB “Polibarr”, which is partly financed by the European Regional Development Fund as the European Union’s response to THE COVID-19 pandemic. The goal of the project is the introduction of information technology to manage business transactions electronically in order to increase the company’s revenue growth.
During the implementation of the project, the company plans to implement e-commerce model solutions in its activities, which would allow to increase operational efficiency and sales revenues and successfully overcome the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Project eligible costs: EUR 67 783.04
Up to 49 996.77 EUR is allocated from the European Regional Development Fund as the European Union’s response to the COVID -19 pandemic
The project starts on 15 February 2022.
The end of the project is 10 February 2023.
